ACADEMY AWARDS® – Jerry Lewis accepted a humanitarian award during Sunday night’s Academy Awards ceremony in a presentation that honored both his philanthropy and his acting.

Jerry Lewis (born March 16, 1926) is an American comedian, Academy Award-winning actor, producer, writer, director and singer.

“Jerry is a legendary comedian who has not only brought laughter to millions around the world,” said Ganis, “but has also helped thousands upon thousands by raising funds and awareness for those suffering from muscular dystrophy.”
