10 Weight Loss Tips
1. Eat only when you’re hungry.
This means stop eating at the time they are full. This means that if you go to eat and eat all the bread in the breadbasket of not eating dinner. This means that if your lunch hour at work and you are not hungry do not eat. This means that if you’re in the middle of a sandwich and you are no longer hungry, stop eating.
2. When you are hungry and eat only with joy, make sure you’re eating something wonderful and tasting every bite.
There will be times when you just want to eat for the joy of it. I mean if only 10% of the time you can still lose weight. But the trick is to make sure you enjoy every bite, taste and full stop as soon as the joy of eating that is fading. If you pay attention, you will be surprised how quickly this can be.
3. Be curious about yourself and not judging.
When you do something you believe is “out” than you think you would like to be doing, being curious and trying to figure out why you do what you do. Explore the thoughts that lead to action. Be kind to yourself and understanding. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt.
4. We believe it is possible to be thin without saying to yourself.
You do not have to hit you in the presentation for thinness. In fact, I found the opposite. Love yourself and be kind to you is far better path to permanent weight loss.
5. Feel your feelings.
Be anxious. (Do not eat.) Being sad. (Do not eat.) Be afraid. (Do not eat.) Be angry. (Do not eat.) Using food as an alternative to the feeling that you are more likely to be overweight. The sooner you feel your feelings soon subside.
6. Stop waiting things out there “to change so you can feel better.
Do not wait for a better job, a slender body, a better husband or a better tasting diet in order to be happy. You can be the source of her joy to find what you like to do and would love to be. Living your own truth, you can be happy no matter what is happening “out there”.
7. Even when you think you have “blown it” write every piece of food that enters the mouth and then read the list with fascination.
You might feel better to write in the journal of food when eating fuel most of the time, but that is not where the most important. Eating only when you are hungry is good idea for those who want to lose weight. I prefer having raw vegetables and fruits in between meals if I feel like having something. That is good for health and weight loss as well.
